MISSIONARY OUTREACH

SERVE, INSPIRE, EVANGELIZE

Students involved in Missions of Peace travel nationally and internationally to do good works for others who are spiritually or materially impoverished. By getting involved, you will sacrifice part of your winter, spring, or summer break to make the Gospel message come alive for those whom you serve. Each mission trip has various outreaches such as youth ministries, chastity presentations, prayer services, home improvement projects, village ministries, medical outreaches, and other apostolic endeavors.

Through these activities and your personal witness of the love and mercy of Christ, your team will seek to be instruments of the Lord. These trips not only accomplish great things in the cities and countries you visit, but they change your heart in the process.
Missionaries do not have to go far to find souls in desperate need of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Works of Mercy enables you to share the Gospel right here in the Ohio Valley and nearby Pittsburgh. Over 140 students per week serve the hungry, sick, imprisoned, homeless, poor, needy, and neglected.

The spiritual and corporal works of mercy can do a lot to revive the human heart—they instill a sense of worth and dignity. Through building relationships, praying, celebrating life, and participating in various community services and projects, you come to know and love your neighbors as yourself.
